Fall Family Festival

The Fall Family Festival production is spearheaded by Jaqui De Meric and the Ocala Farm Ministry, Chaplain Bob and their volunteers will be hosting a variety of family activities to enhance the already action-packed 3-Day event. The activities will include horse themed games, scavenger hunt and  other games and prizes. The family festival is an extension of the efforts by the Ministry to help provide physical, emotional and spiritual growth to the horse farm workers and their families across the county. The Ocala Farm Ministry is a local division of the Racetrack Chaplaincy. On a regular basis they provide the assistance needed to help make a difference to others. Family activities will be there to enjoy throughout the weekend, with some of the main games being set for Sunday November 18th, the Family Focus Day of the Ocala Jockey Club International 3-Day Event. Some of the family activities to include:

          Bouncy horse races

          Stick horse races and jump courses     

          Musical chairs

          Arts and crafts area

          Face painting

          Balloon dart game

          Knock bottles over game

          Educational area with horse and pony - Teaching parts of and tack pieces

          Equine Simulator for kids to try riding on a mechanical horse
